| Overview of the workshop Improved Confinement and Novel Applications of Compact Tori (CT2017)  CT2017 is a continuation of the US-Japan CT workshop series that has been held in the US and Japan every other year: in Irvine, California in 2016, in Tokyo in 2015, in Madison, Wisconsin in 2014, in Kobe in 2013, in Newport Beach, California in 2012. This year, Japan side will host the workshop, which will be held in HOTEL YOKOHAMA CAMELOT JAPAN in Yokohama, Kanagawa prefecture, November 7 - 9, 2017. The objective of the CT2017 Workshop is to discuss comfinement improvements and innovative applications of compact tori and other high-beta confinement concepts. The registration fee will be JPY 35,000 (JPY 15,000 for students).. |
